We here at Bohemian Belladonnas have not been blessed enough to have visited every country in the world, SO there are definitely still a lot of countries we dream to explore! However, as a keen traveller I am always on the look out for new trips and researching the best things to do, a bit of history behind the area and more little gems you stumble upon on the internet. I do really love Google.
If you struggle (or just haven't got much patience) to organise itineraries then I am here to help! You can see my process of planning and either take these steps yourself, or just follow mine step for step. After all that's what I'm blogging for. This week my dream destination is Havana, Cuba!!!

For anyone who knows me and is currently reading this, you'll know my obsession with Cuba. For those of you just starting to get to know me through the blog, I am obsessed with Cuba. Do I need to repeat it again, because I really don't mind. Alright back on topic, with a huge love for Cuba of course my first ever dream destination post would be dedicated to this beautiful Country. I love the Cuban vibe, the people and their culture. Don't even get me started on the music and dancing, we'll be here for hours.
Why Havana as a dream destination? I'm glad you asked... As capital cities go Havana is such a dream. I mean who doesn't want to ride around in a vintage car, basking in the warmth of the sun, indulging in the gorgeous architecture and pastel colours decorating each street, whilst the sound of Salsa beats ooze out of the surrounding cars and buildings? Yes, it sounds like a dream. Well it isn't really a dream when you can buy that ticket and hop on over, but that's easier said than done.

As the Spanish came over to the island and colonised Cuba, it is heavily influenced by Spanish culture. However, the Cubans have many of their own natural produce and products (for several reasons) and this means that you would not be able to find products from other countries stocked in their stores. The constant battle with the US for power and leadership over the country is seen in terms of their development (according to a few other sites), but with relations being rebuilt between Cuba and the US things are looking up and the country is sure to be on the rise.
As I have never been myself I couldn't possibly tell you what to look out for so I found a great Article 'First time Cuba: things to know before you go' that talks about money, visas and many other things. Havana has a lot to offer and from what I have seen you could spend quite a few days getting to know the way around. Below I have written out how long I would stay in Havana and what I would do in each of those days. If you are going and want to follow this itinerary let me know how it goes!!
See you Tuesday, T x
